What is LEBA?

The Latin Economics and Business Association is a prominent student organization in the McCombs School of Business. Our mission is to recruit passionate students who are driven and committed to expand their knowledge, foster relationships across Latin American cultures, and develop their professional skills.

We do this by offering a range of opportunities of growth through community service, social gatherings, athletic activities, expert led talks, and recruiting events. Our vision is to help shape well-rounded individuals and leaders of tomorrow.

Meeting times? General meetings every other Wednesday, with additional events across the month.

We strive to expand our entrepreneurial vision by analyzing real-life cases and specific activities that promote the entrepreneurial environment, complementing our previous knowledge.

One of LEBA’s focuses on enhancing networking through social events. This gives you a chance to meet new people and develop international relationships, thus expanding your career opportunities. Similarly, LEBA offers access to a database with its members and alumni for resume submission and recruitment purposes.

Overall, LEBA strives to create an environment in which its members can obtain knowledge that will benefit them for years to come.
